Opening Ceremonies will take place on Friday, July 6 to kick off the event's festivities. More information to follow.
As tradition dictates, the beautiful Dotting of the Eye Ceremony is performed to awaken the dragon spirit and start the festivities.
The Dragon's Lair Party will follow racing on Saturday, July 7, 2001. In previous years the Dragon's Lair was a very popular meeting area for paddlers, spectators, and sponsors.
The closing ceremonies and award presentations will take place in the Dragon's Lair immediately following racing on Sunday, July 8, 2001.
